Lets try the transparent banner now to make your name. Bring your saved clear gif to IM. Paste the url in the url box and click "view". The banner is on the next page but you cannot see it because its transparent but its there. The size will be in your status bar. That is how you will know it is there. It should be 250x100.     Click on "annotate". Type in your name in the "text" box. We'll leave this one centered again, so scroll down to "fill color", put in color # and put in a "pointsize" 50 or 60. Chose one of IM's fonts and then click "annotate".     If you don't like it or it's too big or too small, use your back key to make changes, then click "annotate" again.     Even though this name looks good, it is not ready to use because there is extra banner all around the name that needs to be trimmed off. Note the size 250x100.     Scroll up and click on the "transform" button. Click on the "trim" feature. Then click on "transform". Note the size now. The banner was trimmed to the same size as the font name. This makes the name much easier to use. The trim feature only works with transparent gifs.     On to step 4, where you can learn to use fonts of your own choice, instead of IM's font list.    Step 4
